The Reading Clinic Attendance Policy

Florida School Law requires that all children attend school regularly and that attendance is the responsibility of the parents.  This rule is in place in order to give students a consistent learning environment.  Student tarries and absences in excess of 15 days per calendar year is noted as excessive/habitual.  For those students with scholarships this attendance is required as part of the scholarship agreement and is reported as such.

Student absences and tardiness should be called in on the designated attendance line. Students out for more than a day require a doctor’s note to return to school.  Absences will only be marked excused as indicated in the Marion County Schools Code of Conduct.

The Reading Clinic Administration reserves the right to change the attendance policy as needed.
